     Approve a resolution for the application to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission for a Florida Boating Improvement Grant for phase one of the marina project.

Description of Action

     The City is applying for additional phase one funding for the design of the Dania Beach Marina.  The grantor agency requires a resolution of support from the applicant governing body.

Fiscal Impact/Cost Summary

     The design cost for the marina will be funded from the city’s general revenues and not from the marina fund.  Any grants awarded would decrease the need for general revenue funds.
